Tanusree Shankar

Choreographer

Tanusree Shankar, a disciple of Amala Shankar, developed her own unique style in choreography. Her choreography is an amalgamation of the essence of Classical and traditional Indian dances with the discipline and soul of modern western technique. Her dances are Indian in spirit, modern in presentation and universal in appeal. She, along with her troupe, aims to excel beyond all manmade barriers fulfilling Ananda Shankar’s dream of “one world”.
